Today is the big day - the riders meeting and swearing in of the Posse! Then afterwards a parade to Mike's Famous Harley-Davidson in New Castle, Delaware. I gotta say that this is the most promotion oriented dealership I've seen. He pulled out all the stops. The entryway for two blocks was lined with spectators with American flags. There were more volunteers and employees on hand then I've seen anywhere else. Everything was planned down to the tee for our arrival. He fed us bar-b-que and hamburgers, had a remote radio broadcast, an eating contest, a bikini contest, a dunk tank at then music by the Marshal Tucker Band. He invited the public and the place was packed. Whew, makes me tired just remembering it all. And they had a waiting list for people needing sales assistance to purchase a bike!
Anyway, here are a few photos of today's activities. Tomorrow we head out on the road for the first real official riding day of the Posse.
