Day 3, Friday, July 13th

Friday the 13th proved to be unlucky only in that we got caught in the mother of all traffic jams on I-95 / I-495 headed from Baltimore to Wilmington. Road construction on I-495 had multiple lanes shut down north of where we were exiting and traffic was backed up bumper to bumper for over 10 miles (the toll booths did not help traffic flow either). No joke it was the worst I have ever seen, but we survived and rolled in to the Chase center for registration right on time.

But before the traffic jam we visited Louis' sister Bobbi and her husband Ray in Baltimore. We had a lunch of deli sandwiches and for desert we had Baltimore's famous Berger cookies. Top shot is at their home.

Second photo is us arriving at Chase center. Louis is missing 'cause he took the shot.

Bottom photo is making a presentation to Lt Tim DeLuca of a Memphis Chapter Posse Ride shirt. Tim is the law enforcement liaison for H.O.G. on these rides. He advises/coordinates with local law enforcement so they are not "surprised" when hundreds of motorcycles descend on their fair cities. Standing between Tim and me is Joe Dowd, head of H.O.G. activities and the Marshall for the national Posse Ride.

Also posted a map of states we have visited so far this trip.
