Did not have this pix to post last night since it was on Patti's camera and we forgot to download it. At a gas stop in Canton, OH, a local police officer drove in and asked about all the motorcycles passing through. After we assured him Hells Angels had not invaded we explained about the Posse Ride. Turns out his brother has a Harley and he really wants one too. So we gave him a Posse Coin - these are special coins only given to Posse Riders. We are to bestow them on special people we meet along the way who have befriended us, gone out of their way to help, etc, etc.
He was really thrilled and of course we got him to pose with the Queen who presented him his coin. BTW I told him that back home we were assured that bikes could run 10 over the posted speed limit. Asked him if that applied here and he said actually it was 15 over. So hats off to Officer Shawn Longo. Party on dude!
